Jamie xx I think will always be the height of my music discovery. There are many other amazing, incredible artists and even just solo songs I have found incredible but the effect that the entire In Colour album, this song, and all the other ventures Jamie has been apart of upon me has been the best part of my life. Strangely, much of those years are gone and I'm left with barely feelings of what it was like, many memories, and this life now is unrecognizable to me for all that I had to let go of. I wish you all the best of luck in finding yourself deeply connected to this world, to the people in it, to the trees and grasses in the wind, to the words in books and letters, to the sounds and silence that hold us like a spell and take us to a dream. We were all so lucky to live during the making of these incredible songs and listen.

It's amazing how one song can engrave itself so deep in our memories. I listened to this song a lot after it came out and that was when I flew to Miami from europe alone in 2012 for the sole purpose of seeing Radiohead live for the first time in my life before starting my military service two weeks after that. When I listen to this song nowadays it's like I'm back in Miami and enjoying my time in south beach while waiting in anticipation for the radiohead gig and it's like a bubble of a dream that will always be there and it's perfect.

the special thing to the song, that most headphone users won't ever experience is, that this song is one of the deepest I know. Headphones can't perfom deep frequencies like this.. even most studio monitors won't, only with a good sub!
