I can say as a kid who grew up during the seventies I would have never dreamed as an adult I would have this window in time to look back at what I experienced. Thank you to all the photographers and people that filmed everyday life back then.

My mom was born in 1970 and sometimes she’ll tell me how life was back then..and I have to say..as a person who was born in the early 2000s..I would love to experience what it was like back in the 70s..

born in 57. Teen in the 70s was so cool man. Miss it more every day, Going out, meeting new people, meeting girls in the college pub, getting a phone number, the excitement of going on a date. Such little stress for every thing. Romance, nature.

The cars! The clothes! ... I'd give anything for a time machine, even if it was one way.

The 70's is a pretty underrated decade. 80's and 90's get all the glory, but this decade had a better balance of low tech and not being too primative.

I was born in 94, I really really wish I could've lived in the 70s. even if it was just for a short time.

I''m 42 years old. I grew up in San Francisco. I've lived in Portland for the last 20 years. This fuckin' video, with this fuckin' music, says IT ALL. Anytime anyone asks why I miss the old SF, or why I left, or why I still yearn for it—I'm gonna show 'em this damn video! For real tho. You done good. This. I can't even. Amazing.

Sometimes I feel like I’m reliving old memories watching these, and I was a teenager in the 80’s

These home movies give me the same feeling I got watching Quentin Tarintino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." Sentimental reminiscing mixed with a sort of melancholy. Wishing with every fiber of my being that I could go back and live during that time again for a week or two!
