The best Waitangi Day Celebration I can remember in over fifty years... Salute the Lady approx "24:20" Angela Pehi... who restored my lost Faith in "The Treaty" Document, as a Foundation to build upon, for the Nation of New Zealand...

Praise our Lord and Heavenly father who rules the Heavens and the Earth forever and will have the last say to everything when he finally comes down to Earth to Judge.

I see that they wear hats now. It's good to see we're reverting back to pre European traditions where the head dress was worn to denote status and spiritually protect the most tapu part of the body.

Arrived in Aotearoa from Sāmoa in the 60s lived in Wellington for over 40 years before migrating to Australia. I always treasured Waitangi Day celebrations and respected Tangata Whenua the owner of the country, their cultures and te reo Māori. When Tangata Whenua sings and performs the haka, I can feel within me the importance of being a proud true blue Kiwi. But I always remember, I was just a visitor to the Māori people country. For the present government intentions to rid teo Māori and the Kiwis identities the Tangata Whenua culture to care for the new arrivals, I hope itā€™s just an intention but will never ever happen. Think about the Ministry of Pacific Affairs for a start; we fought hard for that from the 70s, and eventuated in the David Lange government a stand alone Ministry. New arrivals from here there everywhere made to parliament and pressured Jacinda Arden government; now itā€™s outside Cabinet and dissipated into oblivions; mark my words. That is the fate of te reo Māori, culture and all things Māori. Da heck the new arrivals. The Māori were there for billions and billions of year! Stop the pakeha lies the Māori came and killed the Morioris. There was never a Morioris. There never was a Māori came from nowhere but brought up in Aotearoa. The pakeha made up tales of Māori sailing from somewhere else is just a blatant lie to substantiate their invasion, rape and murderous intrusions of the Southern Hemisphere.
