My father was a musician. He played many instruments and sang. Produced his own stuff since he was a teenager.
I never got into that, even after he bought me a guitar when i was 13, i think. I tried to pick it up a few times, but didnt get the "jump" into it. But i always loved to sing. But i am too shy for that. When i get the thought of people hearing it, i get quiet or stop completely. I was working on getting over myself for a long while now. And it got better. But when i heard this song, with the line about singing all the way, no matter how off key...
I know its stupid but i think something clicked for me. Ive been more open and comfortable with it since then. Sure its not "all fixed and good" all of a sudden, but this somehow gave me a boost in confidence. Love this song
