Pitbull's were bred for the purposes of bullbaiting (dog vs. other animal) and dog fighting. That's why they are called PITbull's, because they fought in pits. People stand amazed when seeing a pointer dog point, or a herding dog herd on pure instinct and no training. But the moment the see a pitbull maul something, they just say it didn't have a good owner. I still remember when that one lady that was a pitbull activist had a seizure and in response her pitbulls killed her, then her idiot daughter picked up the mantle of ensuring people get pitbulls so they can maintain the death by pitbull statistics.
