Thanks Hangtime I had horrible nighttime cramps in my calves especially after doing a lot of walking or things like that. I was watching one of your videos and you mentioned stretching for recovery so I thought I’ll try stretching. I haven’t had a nighttime cramp since I started except once and that night I didn’t stretch before bed. It’s been about 3 weeks since I started. God bless you

Solid foundation for nutrition geared for an athlete. Some advice I have is to just eat a different variety everyday to fully benefit from the combinations of micronutrients found in healthy foods. Vitamin supps are okay, but it’s better to consume them in foods as they are absorbed by the body much easier. Also would recommend mineral water. (Evian is a favorite)
Some of the major vitamins to always focus on:
A, C, E (antioxidative)
Vitamin B complex (B3,B6,B12, for metabolism (also thiamin, riboflavin, biotin, niacin)
Calcium & vit D (injury prevention)
Vit K (blood health)
