“Courage need not be remembered, for it is never forgotten.” Still gives me chills after all these years

No matter how many times I watch the first scene when Link looks out over the Great Plateau, I will always find it moving and... *breath*taking.

I think you forgot the part where Link getting accustomed to the powerful Sheikah Slate by stacking minecarts together, launching leftover Guardians to the sky, or stopping time indefinitely by recalling his memories over and over. Also his driving license test was a really tough one. And who could forget his perilous journey collecting the poops of tree spirits all over Hyrule?

I'm a newer Zelda fan (BotW was my first Zelda game) I will be playing the game on our TV and my dad would watch me play. He had Zelda for the NES when he was a kid. It's amazing how two separate games can bring the past and future fans closer together. Edit: After BotW i played OoT (3DS), Majoras Mask (3DS), Skyward Sword (both wii and switch), Twilight Princess, and Links Awakening (switch)

This was actually really cool and well made! Very good for the 10 people who never played Breath of the Wild.

This game was so good, man I can't believe I'm nostalgic for something I played just a few years ago.

After seeing nearly nothing but crazy trick shots and tech clips from this game over the past 6 years, watching this and remembering that there was an actual proper world and plot to this game kinda gave me whiplash

This game was such a beautiful piece of art, I can't wait for Tears of the Kingdom to be released next week.

My tears brust when Zelda said, " May I ask, Do you really remember me?" 6 years later I still touched by the same game!

I was NOT expecting a recap video from Nintendo themselves! This must mean the story plays a much more pivotal role in Tears of the Kingdom than past Zelda sequels.

I’m surprised that Nintendo actually did this, and I’m even more surprised at how good the storytelling is, bravo Nintendo

those first couple piano chords and notes have never hit me so hard as they just did, only 6 days before the beginning of a whole new arch. Whoever said that nostalgia can't be re-created, mf it just happened and it felt just as real as hearing the music from Pallet Town years later, and it didn't have to be from a long lost childhood. Get ready friends because TOTK is about to create memories for which we will all feel such melancholy in just a few years :') I love you guys, because the game is only half the fun. The sense of community and group excitement is the other half <3

I'm so excited for this game. This is my huge game of the year. I lost my mom last month and our favorite games were Zelda games. She started my Zelda obsession with the NES she got for us on Christmas many years ago. I'll be thinking of her while playing Tears of the Kingdom.❤

I wish more games with sequels did this. Hope this becomes a recurring trend. Bravo Nintendo for doing this 👏

Breath of the Wild was an amazing game and the opening scene and music was 100/10. I can’t imagine how this one will be, hopefully the same level of awesomeness

Breath of the Wild helped me through tough times when I was still stuck at home after the pandemic lockdowns, unable to go out hiking. I didn't think it was possible to feel anything close to the same sense of exploration and adventure from playing a game until I played Breath of the Wild. I almost felt like I was in Scotland's various wildernesses and islands. Thanks to my love of the Hebrides, I had a special attraction to wandering along the coast early on in my playtime. Great recap!
