As an elder gay, I can't tell you how much this video means to me. The song is great and the video stuns. Such a video was unthinkable back in the 80s when I was a teenager. Eurythmic videos were pulled from MTV because they thought Anne Lennox was a drag queen, and she had to submit documentation of her gender before they could get their videos played. Having survived the darkest days of the AIDS crisis to now see the self-assured and unashamed beauty of young gays literally makes me want to cry with joy.
