Don't let social media make you believe that the lines on this song, or the lines on this whole project aren't top tier. J. Cole went hard on this project! But now I feel like people won't feel these bars the same after he publicly said he felt bad about going at Kendrick. As a fan I respect it and understand why he did it. But at the same time I wish he hadn't done it. Cuz now everyone is gonna try to diminish his greatness, his impact, his lyrics...etc. He's undoubtedly solidified in this game as one of the best in history and I know that he knows that. So he may or may not feel or care about the negative stain being aimed at his legacy, but that shit hurts me. He will always be my GOAT no matter what and I will forever fight to defend his legacy. He may not be your GOAT anymore after his public apology, but let it be known that his true fans are not gonna tolerate any disrespect on his name.
