Something this whole sequence gets across so well without over exaggerating anything is how deeply sick and wrong Harkonnen culture is. Greed, deception, toxicity, arrogance and brainwashing is just the order of the day there. Top tier stuff, Denis fully understands the scale and psychology of Dune.

I like how Denis plays with the expectations of his audience. Initially they get the impression that Feyd is an egomaniacal coward who fixes his fights. When he does get a decent opponent he actually enjoys it. He removes his shield, stops the arena guards from interfering, and even shows respect to the Atreides prisoner after mortally wounding him. Feyd is many things, but he's not afraid to fight.

I love the little wink he gives at 3:55. It makes me wonder how much of Feyd's mannerisms were in the script, or just Austin adding it in himself

I just love the maniacal sound, and head throw Austin makes here.
It makes Feyd seem even less human than the Harkonnen he is.

4:22 small detail but his mouth watering tells you what you need to know about Feyd. An evil adrenaline junkie.

0:50 The way those distractors emerge from the shadows is so seamless. 👌

I love how this scene also is a subtle reflection of the events happening in Dune : Part One.
It shows us that without schemes, treachery and help from other sources, the Harkonnen would have probably been crushed by the Atreides in a fair fight.
It also show us that the Bene Gesserit are watching all of this from above, orchestrating and planning everything, without directly taking part in the dirty work and the bloodshed.
