Absolutely loved this vlog Carrie! I'm not sure if you've ever considered this, but I know your ideal life is being a snowbird so I was thinking. If you're ever in the position to be able to purchase a home in Arizona, you could always rent it out as a furnished medium-length rental (like to travel nurses and people who need a place to stay while their homes are rebuilt due to fires/floods) during the summer and then live in it during the winter. Especially if you buy a place somewhat close to a major hospital. I feel like that would be so perfect for you and your semi-nomadic heart 🩷

I’ve lived in Phoenix my whole life and I agree- we have the very best sunsets and best smelling rain!! I’ve traveled a lot and nowhere else compares lol Soaking in the beautiful weather right now in preparation for summer 😂

So funny you talking about the smell of the rain. I grew up in the Midwest but lived in the Mojave Desert area for a couple of years after college and that smell is one of the reasons I could never live anywhere with creosote bushes. Locals loved it and I thought it smelled like dirt and cat pee.

I just wanted to say that seeing you with your niece made my heart swell. I grew up with an aunt that decided to not have any children, and and having her in my life as the “fun aunt” and a “bonus mom” was the best part of my life. I know people have a hard time trying to fallom the audacity of someone not wanting children, but you remind me so much of my fun loving aunt, that I hope you never let people’s opinions get to you.
