Good Day, I hope to submit my MRI files to your office for review. I have right shoulder, back and arm radiculopathy and have been recommended for a four level ACDF by a neurosurgeon I have been seeing. I have tried physical therapy but it really hasn't fixed anything permanently. I do have some questions. You say that the tear in the disc will ultimately close on it's own. Does a disc have a good blood supply to aid in healing the tear or do you do something to assist in that process? I ask that because of another Laparoscopic procedure I came across that uses an injected material to seal off the tear. I believe it's called Discseel. Are you familiar with that procedure? I'm also curious about the laser and the effects of its heat on surrounding tissues during the procedure. Can you elaborate on that concern? Thank-you.
