I hate the fact they're still damn underrated. All of them guys are workin hard to prove they're no joke. The Pretty Reckless are a band, a REAL band. But someone out there still thinks this is just the favourite toy of "Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl". Idiots.

I don't think anyone truly understand how sad and powerful this song is,the words are so meaningful, and Taylor is really an artist, she feels the music, and she know how to give us emotions.I truly love her!

This album is truly fantastic. It tells a powerful story. On the outside looking in, it is easy to be fooled into thinking that this band is evil, or satanic, but in reality, it is a reflection of that they believe the world is. I fell like the album tells a story, and the story means something different to everybody who is willing to listen to it. To me, it is about a girl who can feel her innocence slipping away. She sees the world around her, and she sees that it was once a beautiful home, a place free of sorrow. Then she sees it today, full of hate and regret. Full of people mindlessly watching television, or mindlessly scrolling. She sees all the people that struggle every day, and she sees that there is nobody to blame but all of us as a whole. Like the whole world, that was once a magical place, has been altered forever in the worst way possible, and there is no way to stop it. The world has lost all of its innocence, much like all the children will with time. Her songs are not about “going to hell”, it’s about already being there, and being too afraid to ask for forgiveness. It’s about losing hope

That’s what it means to me anyway, and I think it is truly an art form.

Also, sorry about my bad grammar, I am not the best with words, I hope this made sense

I just noticed she doesn't really have much eye makeup on in this video! One of my favourite songs by the pretty reckless, it's so real.

I actually just discovered this band 24 hours ago. This is by far the most powerful song they have. I have much respect for them.

I was very taken aback from this. One of my biggest fears is war and this song... It's just so powerful and touching

To find artists that make real rock, honest music and remain so relevent to today, remains shocking!!! This is a band we needed for quite some time!  Ben Phillips is a driving force for what we thought was lost! Thank you all for giving us music again!!!!!

Somewhere in the end of all this hate
There's a light ahead
That shines into this grave that's in the end of all this pain

In the night ahead there's a light upon this
House on a hill
The living, living still
Their intention is to kill and they will, they will
But the children are doing fine
I think about them all the time
Until they drink the wine and they will, they will, they will

Somewhere in the end we're all insane
To think that light ahead can save us from this
Grave that's in the end of all this pain

In the night ahead there's a light upon this
House on a hill
The living, living still
Their intention is to kill and they will, they will
But the children are doing fine
I think about them all the time
Until they drink the wine and they will, they will, they will

I am not afraid
I won't burn out in this place
My intention is to fade and I will, I will

In this house on a hill
The dead are living still
Their intention is to kill and they will, they will
Keep your children safe inside
Out of pocket, out of mind
Until they drink the wine and they will, they will, they will
