...when Jimmy grabs at the woman's leg...the look on his face :( ....his eyes are begging for some sign that their connection was real...that maybe despite her having set him up...that something between them had been real, even if just for a moment....my heart then broke for him when this woman instead of giving him a moment of kindness turns on him with a look of disgust and hurts him too. So much pain drifting through the generations of the Sparks family...Jimmy is clearly flawed, but there's a childlike innocence I see in him....he deeply wants to fill the void of his absent alcoholic mother - this leaves him vulnerable to being taken advantage of by the kinds of flawed women he attracts.

The consistency of these scenery are amazing. First in Gloria we see Gloria throwing that glass bottle towards her husband, then in “Left for Denver” Junior throwing the matches fire towards the piano, and lastly here the woman throwing Jimmy’s wallet. Amazing how three chapters are so different, yet still resemble each other in so many subtle ways.

Listen to Jimmy Sparks, it explains the story more. However, I think Jimmy owes money to some loan shark guy who came to collect. The girl Jimmy was sleeping with was actually just trying to get Jimmy’s wallet to give to the loan shark, and they both beat him up. Also, it shows all the characters at the end to show how they are all alone due to the addictions they’ve gone through. I think the last girl at the end is Bonnie, Junior’s mom (Jimmy’s ex wife) who we might see more of in the next videos.

Jimmy seeing the dog we thought only Junior cared about... That wallet toss mimicking the whiskey toss from "Gloria".... Forget about the Grammys. Give these guys a freaking Oscar.
