While I think Disney has made some stupid decisions I feel like people forget all the good Disney has done. To this day Brother Bears is still one of my favorite movies of all time. Controversial I know. Even some of the newer movies aren't all that bad. I more hate the company rather than the projects. Lol.

For me sometimes its getting harder to recognize Dreamworks apart from Illumination for a lot of the time, just as Disney has kind of blurred in with Pixar. I had to look up and double check Pixar really did something like Lightyear, or how Soul is in the same studio as the red panda movie. Meanwhile for Dreamworks its like - I mean c'mon, do I need to spell it out or can you easily see how Boss Baby is in the same vibe next to Minions. Same can be said for all the "How many Trolls movies are there now" camp. They got acquired by illumination too, so that doesn't help a lot. But then they still take a good look at their older franchises, brush one off, and make masterpieces with it, or still do something in the left lane like Bad Guys. I still can't get over The Last Wish, that thing is like top 10 movie material, and very much feels real and close to the same guys doing Shrek, HTTYD, and Kung Fu Panda, rather than... the current guys putting Boss Baby in the same logo screen. I mean Boss Baby isn't even a terrible movie, but its very much the generic family movie to throw out there with Illumination's whole catalog, while the serious Dreamworks is the crazy cynical Disney that manages to bring out emotional hits and edgy laughs.
