the end result was to be expected, and this was a solid video. it's like any other art form or instrument. lacy has such a fluid style that the simplicity works to his advantage. the rhythm of the strumming, percussion, bass, and singing all whole that is greater than the sum of all parts. this girl's imitation was clever and her analysis was on point; but her style is so obviously different that her song would never be confused for a real steve lacy track. the influence would be very obvious though. solid video. don't copy, just take influence and create your own MMA. mixed music arts, baybeeeeeeeeeee

Great video! Have always loved stacks music and his ‘bare maximum theory’ , utilising what you have shows real skill especially in a creative field!

This is a really really nice and helpful step by step video. I wasn't wanting to copy his style but just gather techniques and ways to make music from it and you helped with that a lot! And you have a very beautiful voice, I'm jealous.
