I think Charlie Bronson (Michael Peterson) just didn't understand certain subtleties of living in a social world. Tom Hardy really portrays him honestly, using his own physicality to portray a man who missed a few life lessons in his youth. Peterson could've done alright, sort of, had he not been held in solitary for decades. It changes you, esp if you're already a bit off-center. 😜

The jewellery scene makes me laugh. Its like he's gone in there telling himself to act as civil as he can, even got the suit on and even makes an effort to be as civil as he could... but the "that's a thousend pound ring, sir" just triggers him hahahaha.
