There was a boxer named Christian DAGhio that died in 2018 (5 years ago) in a boxing incident when he was 49 years old. Not sure about him appearing in LA (because he died in Bangkok and was Italian) but it adds up very weirdly.

I also just googled and there was a boxer called Christian DAGhio who got knocked out in a fight and died at age 49 he died in 2018 which was five years ago so maybe it was five years ago he died and not 59 he also died on October 26 which is pretty close
