I have read many philosophers, but, always, the one that stood out for me was Friedrich Nietzsche.
Especially this quote: "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."
The deeper you will go in life, the more you will encounter people who won’t understand your way of thinking.
Keep doing what you do.
Keep dancing and just let others think that you are insane.
There is so much truth and beauty in this “insanity” of yours.

The best way to overcome the fear of what others think of you is realizing that you don't even control what you think, how can you possibly control what others think about you when you can't even control your own thoughts and feelings. After I realized that I literally spend zero time worrying about this. Thoughts about others will arise, observe them and move on that's all you can do. You can't stop them from coming because you don't control your thoughts trying to will just create fustration.

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs

It’s easy to say “don’t care what other people think” but it’s a difficult balance, because on some level it benefits us to care, being as our world is formed by those around us and they directly impact our life. I think it’s more beneficial to care less about the majority and more about the opinion of those you deem worthy.
