Let me explain what this actually is, I don’t think you did a great job at explaining.
So, when Taylor’s albums are available for pre add on Apple Music, she always includes an extra track as it’s part of her deal with Apple.
It started in Red TV era where the pre add of the album contained a track called “A Message From Taylor”. For Midnights, this track was called “Meet Me at Midnight”. Both of these tracks were voice memos of her basically saying she can’t wait for us to listen.
For speak now tv, it was the first time we got a video as a pre add content. This video was her announcing the album in Nashville.
Now for TTPD, this video is “All’s fair in love and poetry…” which was a video which showed a message similar to when she posted the album announcement on Instagram.
Apple Music glitched and caused this video to have no audio. However, they posted on their Instagram the video with the audio and Taylor says “Hey Apple Music it’s Taylor. Thank you for pre adding the tortured poets department. I’m really proud to be able to share it with you on April 19th. I can’t wait for you to hear it.”
