Love the Blue Mica Metallic MR2! I worked at Toyota when we were selling those new (in turbo) for around $14,000 - $20,000 CAD. I have always loved the way that car drives!

Yeees…I had the exact same Golf VR6 back in the day and I eventually traded in for the ‘new’ mk5 GTI (as it was in 2005) and the salesman told me that the VR6 had actually been sold there originally from new and had now come full circle..cool car 👍🇬🇧

Love the Jag XK8 - still a great buy for the money and looks superb. For a city runaround, the Fiat 500 Riva. Love that interior! Another Great episode !

Nerdy fact.. the alloys on that particular XR3i are actually RS Turbo alloys.. 😉. The XR3i ones were slightly different. The mk2 MX5 1.8 with its lsd was amazing!! Sideways fun at will and still.. the best manual gearbox I’ve ever experienced.. awesome value for money.. That Bentley.. bloody hell that’s cheap!!! Great episode gentlemen!

Definitely the most exciting episode of these! I’ve had two jag XK8s. The first was a basket case I said I’d do up but lasted a year for 2k. Second was so rusty the mechanic didn’t even want me to drive it home…… beautiful car though…😅

I’ve spent the last couple of years doing up a GTI-6 in my spare time, it’s one of the good ones in so much as it’s underpinnings are in very good shape, it is mechanically sound and has not been modified. Unfortunately it does have the associated Peugeot lacquer peal so will be going in for a windows out respray later this year. However when you take it out for a drive you quickly realise how sanitised the driving experience of its modern equivalents have become, the eagerness of that free revving engine, feel-some steering and playful chassis setup never fail to bring a smile to my face. My intention is to do the North Coast 500 in it next year. The colour of the 306 in the video is ‘Blaze Yellow’, I had a 306 XSi in that very colour, it was my first ‘proper’ car, one that I still have fond memories of.

You can get a decent condition Z4 coupe for under 10k, great car wonderful to own and drive. Bought mine during lockdown for 6.5k still have it no regrets.
