I never cease to be amazed by the musical gems you repeatedly come up with to help folks with the creativity of their playing. Thanks for this one! I picked up more than one rhythm pattern I plan on using. Great Flutecast!

Another very useful lesson. You had touched on these mnenomic devices in a past lesson(s). This lesson went into greater depth and refreshed me about using them to break into new territory with my NAFlute playing. I recently purchased an inexpensive REMO hand drum and I will try to incorporate this lesson with it. Thanks as always, keep up the great work, and i will add a tip to the flute email. Happy New Year!

I love this method, so much fun, and the new melodies I can make, it's like I'm playing again for the first time. I was seriously in a rut. Thank you. Blessed Be. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Great tip!! Thanks for the enlightenment. A bodhran drum tutorial book recommended this, but I never tied it to the flute.

Thanks Clint, for the new ideas, I had been doing something similar for a while using different sounds through the flutes but never thought of using food or whole words for different rhythm patterns. I noticed on set you had a tin whistle off to your left, are the scales for that similar to the NAF's? I've been thinking about getting one. Thanks again for the new ideas!

Since I have a five hole flute, I don't know if I could really play these fruity notes. It's an interesting approach though.
