I think I have another theory too as to why that first one was so viral. You hit the nail on the head with the fact that the best audios are simple and pretty much write the joke for you, but that first one also let people talk about themselves. I think the first one was the most successful for the simple reason that people LOVE talking about themselves, and the sound is a perfect springing point for people to talk about whatever they're passionate about or whatever. Because of that, it was not only usable in pretty much every niche of the platform, but people felt like they were participating not in a larger viral trend, but in their own special community/corner of tiktok.
