I love that she featured Caro Mio Ben in this song. It’s one of the first Italian art songs classically trained singers learn. Her Italian was impeccable. For those of you who don’t know, she was classically trained by an opera singer for years and attended a performing arts high school (HSPVA) that focus on classical music for singers. She chose to branch out into another genre (many do) while maintaining the healthy technique and foundation she learned.
