I drink this beer pretty often. I love a Bavarian Weißbier, but I switch to Kristall Weißbiers in the summer. Its very clean and refreshing, more so than some German pilsners.

Would like to see you take a trip to Weienstephaner or Erdinger just to mention a few, and do a video while they are brewing the beer. An actually interview the master brewer.

I tried this beer last year and loved it! I do enjoy the original erdinger, it's a little milder than paulaner. I know most would prefer a paulaner but that's just me haha.

I remember when I got my first job in a local pub, we re used bottles (Holsten Pils, Beck's, Newkie Brown etc) here in the UK.

I prefer the Hefeweizen over the Kristall one Simon as I find it pretty weird that they brew a Weissbier but filtered instead of being hazy, and it still has the aroma’s of a Hefeweizen, but that’s just my humble opinion. The fact that it looks like a pilsner but instead it tastes and smells like a Weissbier.

Pretty sure you reviewed a kristall somewhat recently, maybe that's what you were thinking of. Not always into wheat beers myself, so i'd enjoy this.

To be honest I can't stand Wheat Beer. Its far too medicinal for me. Not a nice taste at all. I'll try that though. Great on a summers day walking the Alps apparently.

When you buy a glass of Kristall in germany, they put in a lemon slice floating on top. More refreshing.

Like you said: They filtered out all of the godness. I would prefer any dark or light Weisbeer over this on a normal day. But on a hot summer day it is very refreshing. In Bavaria they mix 50% Kristal Weizen and 50% Lemonade and call it Russ. That is even more refreshing.
