As an Italian, I completely agree about "Brividi". I don't know how many people outside of Italy know, but our entry is selected through another singing competition called Festival of Sanremo, where multiple famous singers compete and the winner gets to sing at Eurovision. When Mamhood and Blanco sang in Sanremo they did a way better job than what they did, and even though I wasn't a fan of the song, it was still acceptable. But 6th place at Eurovision truly was embarrassing...

I agree with almost all of these - especially for Poland, great summation - except Portugal and Belgium, personally. I actually thought the Belgian singer's ocals were mostly pretty good, but I could see why someone might not like the number. Also, I really loved the National Final performance for Italy in 2022, but it just completely fell apart at the final.

Good list. I don't agree with a lot of them, but many of the most egregious examples of bad entries are in earlier years (especially the early-mid 2000s). I do completely agree with what you said about Brividi, though. I made my own Favorites from Each Country video and I've thought about doing one like this too, but I feel like some of my choices will get me attacked lol. Subbed

I‘m Greek and I agree with your comment about that song. It‘s the composer who gives everyone these terrible, dated, generic songs.When interviewed and asked about her entry, Demy (the singer) always says that this experience was so traumatizing for her that to this day she hasn‘t watched not even once the video of her performance.

Agree on Portugal: Though I'm happy that Portugal has its win, this song is the winning song I dislike the most. I really preferred the Portuguese song the following the next year much more and it sadly only made the last place.
