@Gingy, the Ballerinas are called left and right not because of the hands but because of the brain. When Katerina died he tried to put her back together but couldn't do it in one piece, so he restored left and right sides of the brain. It is explained while you are fighting them.

The rings are not for twin-robots, they were supposed to be worn by P3 and his wife as wedding rings, so they would be moderators, while Sechenov will administrate the network. So destruction of all 3 connectors with hi access leaves all the network to the will of Zakharov.

Gingy feels like that squirrel from the movie "Over the Hedge" when he drinks energy drink the whole world freaking freezes. Making him do anything in a small amount of time.

There is some points that weren't announced. And they are interesting. 1. Zakharov wasnt killed, so to speak, He was someone who was disgusted by limitation of human body. You know that usual stuff: eating, copulating, having good time. He was sure that the true potential of human mind was handicapped by flesh and body. So he willingly dissolved himself in the polymer. When Sechenov was made aware about it, he tried to help his friend, but Zakharov refused. Because he started to feel as something else. A new species, that is not locked in the fleshy prison. Also in his new state he was able to make scientific breakthoughs. Such as creating Voshod device. By the start of the game he has pretty misanthropic view on humanity overall. He is not mastermind of the whole clustermess, but he effectively uses what he got his hands on for his goals. 2. Ring we see in the game were design for Nechaev couple. Because they were right and left hand of Sechenov before. Accident happened not in the war, but after. Terrorist group got them. They were supposed to be guardians of the rings, but shit happened. 3. On combat tactics in robots, it is a part of defensive mechanisms that were put in if enemy army once again invaded Soviet union. Atomic heart project was about collapse of tht electric grid of USA, not mindless slaughter. Basiclly mass diversion on power plants, that only Soviet Union can handle. USSR have actual combat robots, and they are terrifying. P-3 actually had to deal with them at some point. But he doesn't remember that. 4. Petrov is suffering from immense ego. He created this malfunction to make his name stand in the history. If not like a great mind, then like a villain. He was envious of the position of the Scientific Cohort. And wished for similar privileges. 5. Important to note that all the craze people in the Neptune facility are volunteers. They are not victims it was their own decision. That the grey morale area, on one hand it looks pretty brutal and inhumane, on the other there is no way to push science without someone to be sacrificed on the operation table. Game specifically ends in an open way. It gives us a riddle who is a good guy, and who is bad one. Who is right and who is wrong will be different for different persons, depending on their view of life.

I love the look of this game. I've always loved American retrofuturism, but it seems often times that's all there is. It's neat to see what other places around the world dreamed up at the same time. I used to collect stamps and I would often get stamps from the former Soviet union, and they were always these very abstract visions of tomorrow from the 1950s or 1960s. They were similar to the American visions of tomorrow but always seemed a bit... Off. This game nailed that look.

-Companion that you never see until the end, you only talk to each other (Except in the very beginning when you see Fontaine from a distance trying to ā€œsave his wife and kidsā€) -Companion turns out to be someone different than who they said -Similar transformation (boss fight BS1) -Underwater city, ā€œRaptureā€ -Scientist(s) a part of the projects change their minds when they learn the true horrors (Tenenbaum) -Plasmids? Def more but I havenā€™t played AH and Iā€™m just spitballing lol. The Bioshock influence is palpable and I love it

Ya know the bad ending kinda reminds me of "The Upgrade" movie where the villain Stem manipulate it's own host Grey, thinking he's the good guy. But in reality he's Not. When he realizes this truth then Stem put Grey into a deep sleep coma like, where he can dream endlessly about the happiness with his wife. Just like in this game Chariton is also done the same thing to P3 šŸ˜²šŸ¤Æ

I got the "Bad" ending of the game today and I feel played, betrayed like I was merely a tool and like all my decisions and choices did not matter. Which is probably exactly what the Devs wanted to make you feel I have to say it's quite a bold thing to do for a studio's first game which I can respect it just left a bad taste in my mouth ( which again was most likely entirely on purpose ) I hope the story wraps up differently with the 4 DLCs they have planned

No mention on how Nora was practically warning you about the glove the whole game.

The ending was a mindfuck for me. the amount of twists and turns in this story really cement it as something special in my opinion.

In the loading screen, one of "Charles' Tips" mentions that he 'is a cat person.' After defeating the twins in the final cutscene when he climbs out of the tub in his new polymer goo form, you see him petting one of those fuzzy cat-things that you first encounter in limbo. Kinda crazy that perhaps the first hint as to who charles really is can be found in a loading screen before the game starts; Of course without the context from the ending you wouldn't pay this tip much attention. Great Vid!

He didn't call them left and right because they represent his left and right hands though, but because they're made of the remnants of the left and right halves of MC's wife's BRAIN. Also the end isn't him going into limbo and being happy, because he wasn't supposed to meet his wife, it's his wife that's been converted to polymer calling him to wake up, or maybe from the great beyond? Either way, she kept guiding him out before that too, and telling him to wake up, so that's NOT a part of limbo

Kinda sucks that if you want to fully understand the story and whatā€™s going on as well as do the final boss fight you have to do the bad ending, that game was cool and I enjoyed it but the lack of choice left me unsatisfied to say the least. I was hoping there was an ending where p3 keeps the beta connectors, confronts sechenoff (pardon spell) gives the beta connectors to the twins, let sech launch collective and let p3 live happily with his robo wife or wives.

I think the reason Zakharaov destroys the controller is that the controller may override Zakharaov's control. Zakharaov does not need the controller to control people, the evidence is that he can send P3 to limbo by himself. In the good ending, P3 also mentioned this, and confirmed that Secherov had no intention to control every one. The controllers may be the counter measure.

Man, as soon as I noticed 'Charles' was awfully quiet in front of Granny Zina when you reach her hut, I went straight back to her house as he and P3 began speaking again, hoping that she would hear the glove's voice and recognise him. P3 and Zacharov then proceeded to have a 5 minute conversation right in front of Zina. Sure enough, she only freaks out when the plot requires it, right before the choice between leaving and killing Sechenov.

Something I want to share: I believe NORA isn't just talking P3 into getting rid of the glove out of spite, but rather because she knew about Charles' plan. NORA was altered by the actions of Petrov. We are introduced to that in the beginning of the story. Petrov knew about Setchenovs plans with Kollektiv 2.0 and tried to stop it. He also immediately knew that P3 came by Sechenovs command after Filatova mentioned her encounter with P3 and him wearing an experimential glove. It is therefore possible that Petrov knew about Zhirkov in the glove and altered NORA with this knowledge. I haven't yet put all the strings together but I think NORA knows a bit more about the glove than I first anticipated.

I love these kind of videos. I know I probably won't play this myself but I love hearing the stories presented in them. I've definitely watched a lot of your videos because they're done very well. Thanks for making this! šŸ˜
