The video was made by Wynne Greenwood, who was JD's girlfriend at the time and who had a music project called Tracy + The Plastics (she made some amazing albums!). It's actually Wynne who is wearing the see-through mask and who is using the telephone in the video. (She also made the video to Le Tigre's Hot Topic, the one with the collages.)

when i hear this i am always so blown away... i grew up listening to bkini kill and worshipped them, never thinkining it could get better than "grrrl-style now!"- but it's like kathleen hanna graduated and distilled her talents, transforming them into the consistent perfection that is le tigre... it's still "grrrl-style now!" but i think it's refined just enough to reach out to a broader audience without dilluting the very direct message intended. They got it "just right".
