Dude John's range is super scary good. He had this naturally low bass voice but he could hit a lot of high notes. The dude is a legend on bass and a very underrated vocalist.

I saw the Who only once, five concerts after the Cincinnati disaster. Roger was clearly rattled, but John Entwhistle saved the day. He stood his ground, rock solid, a stack of Marshall amps for each string, his mates leaning all over him for emotional support. ... I almost can't watch this stuff anymore. You never how much you're in love until the girl or the band is long gone. John Entwistle was a legendary musician and a better man. His cover art was also brilliant. Rest peacefully, John. You are missed, always.
