I can totally hear the Aphex Twin influence. I like the direction this remix has taken, but the slight glitching effects somehow seem to make me want more commitment to the ''chopped'' sound, like Para One's remix of Krazy Baldheads Revolution.

The glitches and skips are not intentional. I checked out a reupload of this song on YouTube and it was clear. I think the audio just glitched when it was uploaded.
