I feel like what rubs me the wrong way is that she repeatedly said she was gonna review the product asap or like the next day and just didnt. I understand she doesnt owe him anything BUT she shouldn't have kept telling him like "oh next day ill do it!" Or "im gonna review ASAP!" He should have kept this one in the drafts. When I was 16 I had my own Etsy & sold bows. At the time tumblr was huge and the whole kawaii aesthetic. I started small but quickly gained popularity by messaging popular tumblr girls. At the end of the day I knew that they didnât have to post my bows if they didnât want to. Like yes I spent the money to ship & a bow that could have been sold but it was a risk I was willing to take. There were a lot of girls who ghosted me & it was what it was. Yes, Mikayla should have been more clear and said I will review it, but I can't promise when (basically explain what she said in the video). But I think the guy was to reckless and entitled. To me it looks like he was desperate to get costumers, so he decided to use Mikayla's not great reputation to try and fish for sympathy. Basically overplaying the "I got scammed by a big influencer". Which sucks cause it does happen to many people, and things like this make it hard to know who to trust and support.

Yeahhh im a 47 year old lifelong Bostonian. Her accent is definitely way off, its not how anyone in Mass really ever speaks. Its how folks think New Englanders speak (eg- di caprio in Departed).
Listen to her vs. how someone like Bill Burr speaks in normal convo (disregard our famous AAH in car type stuff), he has the flow, accentuation, lazy brief run on of certain sounds that is indicative of nearly everyone I group up with.
