It's sad when you think that the warnings of Zappa and Carlin were laughed at and pretty much ignored by the larger part of the population.

When your rock stars are smarter than your politicians, you’re in trouble.

I've wished, for years, that Frank Zappa was still alive. He was always competely insightful about the direction America was going in. He was predicting all of it, from the 70's onwards. I really miss that guy. We need him more than ever.

Frank Zappa was not a musician. Frank Zappa was Frank Zappa. He was a really great man, but he didn't get the respect that he deserved because of his use of comedy in music. He was a truly great musician, but he was so much more.

No truer words were ever spoken. People like Carlin and Zappa were highly aware and 100% accurate social prophets.

Frank Zappa will never know how lucky he was to escape from the current political absurdities

The most damaging thing Reagan did, arguably bigger than supply-side economics, was bringing the religious right to power.

I don't even understand how is it at all possible that one guy can stand at a podium and literally say "I'm the best president ever! I'm better than everybody! I never lie, I never cheat, I'm perfect! Only I can save you!" and that's enough to actually make half the world believe him. This is isn't even a question of politics or beliefs. This is just insanity.

Frank Zappa was not only a great musician, but he was also a great political sage.

It's scary and sad to see that Zappa predicted Trump while talking about Reagan and his administration, who prepared the field for Trump and his MAGA cult

Trump said, "The world is laughing at us." They sure are Bunker Boy! 😂

People are now finally getting it. I've been a Zappa fan sine the '60's. Frank Zappa always was much more than his complex music. America couldn't handle the truth back then, and half of America still can't handle the truth today. RIP Frank, you did more for Democracy in America than any faux christian republican alive today. Thank-you.

Frank Zappa was such an intelligent but a largely ignored person only because the establishment didn't like the way he looked, the language he used and the fact he believed that we need to be self reliant, independent of thought and have the courage to call out bigotry, homophobia, racism and intolerance, but overall that we didn't need to be controlled by the self-style 'elites' and this scared the crap out of the conservative, post middle aged, white men who wanted to run the country.
