The History of The Mystic Radics Band.

In 1981 I remember I was very young and had just left church where I had learned to play the guitar 🎸.
I grew up listening to reggae music. Listening the Wailers and Gregory Isaacs.

Many times I would put Gregory Isaacs songs on in the evening one one song in particular Slave Master and start playing the guitar 🎸 to that song. I did not know that passers-by were listening. Until one evening in 1981 2 of my best friends Marvin Augustus and Andrew Williams came to my parents house wanting me to teach them to play guitar 🎸 so that's where we started. As time went on we started to grow as a band. I would be there playing the guitar. Marvin on drums. Andrew on bass guitar. We had a young girl singing at the time her name was love Nelson. One day we were all practising at my parents house when Tony Moody walked in. He told us my mom called him come and organise us as a group. This was where it started. While we were rehearsing in my father's home in Norwood Tony asked what should we call the band Marvin came with the name Mystic Radics. Tony and I would always practise the musical side of the songs together then later with the band. One evening while we were all rehearsing Earl Derrango came in to the room when we were play Nationwide and he loved it. That was when we began to record our music. When we did we did apply of my eye I did not like the first version we did on the tape. Marvin and I came up with the bass line and rhythm that is on the record now. Apple 🍏 of my eye and Going to a dance I love the medolica and saxophone. Thanks to my mom for all of this.

It's just great that in 2016 Sebastian of reel-heavy music. Reissued Nationwide. Gregory from horini Sounds reissued Going to a dance and Apple of my eye 2019. Big Respect to them. And also all the followers and listeners of the Band over the passed 40 years of these songs. Big Respect to you all.
