This happened to me. I fell in love with this girl from my old school, a beautiful light ginger haired girl with dreamy brown eyes. My feelings for her slipped out once when we were talking. She told me she liked me back… and even though it all happened to fast I believed her. We became a couple a few weeks later and life couldn’t be better. We kissed. We hung out everyday. We hugged all the time. Then one day, I was going into the girls locker room to get changed, (we both did Karate together) and I saw her with a boy. They were kissing. I couldn’t believe what I had saw. I felt as if I was going to pass out. I ran out the locker room crying. When the teacher asked me what was wrong, I sped out the place. I couldn’t believe the girl I loved with all my heart was cheating on me. When she texted me later asking about where I went, still flirting like nothing had happened, I told her everything I had saw with her and that boy. She said she didn’t want me to find out but she wasn’t into girls. She just loved how it felt when someone liked her. She didn’t even seem sorry. Honestly, even a year later I’m still so mad at her. I feel for Marie. I hope everyone here meets a better person than my ex.

am i the only one who’s actually quite fond of the ending? sure i would’ve loved it if they ended up together (as we don’t see much of that often), but i do admire that they chose to take the more realistic side of first loves, of young love. if anything, that wasn’t a sad ending at all, but i suppose that does depend on how you choose to see it. from how i saw it marie was miserable for most of the time that she was with her, and i’m glad to see the scene where she was floating in the pool with her best friend, as i think it represents acceptance and her finally coming to terms that she just couldn’t truly have floriane.
they were both so immensely young, she has so much love for her and the other one took advantage of that (which might be caused by immaturity or perhaps it’s just simply in her nature). but then again, it also isn’t difficult for me to understand, perhaps not fully but some part of floriane, because at her age she probably hasn’t fully grasped her self yet.
although it may have not been in the same level, but i prefer to think that the love between them was mutual.

SPOILER WARNING: Some people are accusing the blonde girl of being selfish but there’s allot more to it
My summary of the story:
Marie (Girl With brown hair) always had feelings for the blonde girl but the blonde girl was classified as a slut because people thought she was always with different guys but they didn’t realise she kept on turning them down and Marie didn’t judge her. Wich shows the blonde girl was only popular for her swimming skills and her looks but she actually often got bullied by her teammates, Marie was her first friend. Throughout the movie the blonde girl uses Marie to get with guys and do her favours but then at some point the blonde girl grows feelings too Finally at the end they kiss but after the kiss the blonde girl says to Marie, “make sure to help me if a guy is a jerk” so she pretended like nothing happened, it might not look like it but throughout the movie she has a problem expressing herself so I think that the blonde girl likes Marie but doesn’t want to show it Wich in this case you could call her selfish but she doesn’t realise it. at the end you see her dancing but just by herself, she looks happy, not realising what she said and how it hurt Mary and maybe thinking She didn’t hurt Mary. while Marie understood that she got rejected and went to her favourite place the pool to reflect with her friend. and sadly the movie ends up like that. But at the end you can tell they liked each other but the situation was misunderstood by Mary. and it wasn’t just one sided. In my head they ended up together. And to get one thing straight, I don’t think the blonde girl was straight at all she always had problem with men and always went to Marie for comfort, hope this helps 🥰.
