I’ve been a substitute teacher for nearly a decade. I’ve taught in CA, UT, and TX, K-12. And this headset thing is a terrible idea!! We can barely get the teens to learn anything because they keep
sneaking on to looking at their phones! They’re glued to them! If you could see what I see, high school students with only about 2 kids working on the assignment the teacher left, the rest are on their phones! And I’ve gotten up
and walked around, tried to remind of their assignment and they’ll usually lie and say they did it already, or they’ll do it tonight. The phones have absolutely resulted in the
horrific dumbing down to this generation! Most don’t have good manners, many are rude, don’t know how to read or even give change if they had a cashier job. These headsets would make it way, way worse! How would the teachers or curriculum have any accountability if the parents can’t hear what’s being taught?! Homeschool your kids! There’s fights breaking out more frequently now too at schools. It’s bad.

The reason why schools are closing is there is so much bullying, indoctrination, and less educational activities and less studying. Speaking of Facebook , I feel like a teacher myself teaching a short wave radio listening and antenna making class. More like an electronics teacher on Facebook.

What happened to the teachers where the schools closed down. Did they just lose their jobs and are now seeking employment elsewhere? It would make sense to send them to the same school their students went and then there would be 2 teachers per classroom and the current teacher wouldn't feel so overwhelmed.
