Classic episode with the third game

In the first game, the men were probably correct in saying they couldn't disclose the head of British Intelligence, due to the Official Secrets Act, that was in effect long after the end of the war.

Game #3 was SO MUCH FUN. I love when the reveals turn out to be someone the panel already knows, especially when they guess them as the real person in question.

The Otto Preminger sequence is one of the best ever.

Another game where Henry Morgan fooled the panelists is where a soviet spy had a mask on to hide his identity.

Love the older game shows. You wouldn't hear 'God bless you' on anything today! How refreshing!

There's a very interesting New York Times obituary about Eddie Chapman, which I just finished reading online. He passed away in 1997.

What's the difference between the day time game and this one? Have I ever seen the day time one? These ones on youtube here, are they only the night time ones? The 3rd game was hilarious!

Might be confirmation bias because I always pictured him being so but does anyone else find Chapman charming and...kind of...attractive? Just me? Oh okay...

Eddie Chapman hesitated before answering that he wrote the book about himself. Several have been written, but his name is not on them. The named authors used their real names, so no pen name was used that couldā€™ve been him. Perhaps he was consulted/interviewed, but he didnā€™t write them.

I guessed number 2 for Eddie Chapman because when he said: ā€œI donā€™t know,ā€ he was not intimidated by not knowing and answered forthrightly. Plus, number 3 said he was picked up by a submarine, not a U-boat, to return to Germany.

Wild! That was what Otto Preminger's Mr. Freeze from the old Batman television series said numerous times in the episodes. Horny Orson headed right to the Playboy bunny but she was already shaking hands with Tom.

Eddie Chapman's story was made into a movie.
