Fear is responsible for more unfulfilled lives than anything else. Feat stops us from moving forward, taking chances, and taking risks. Fear causes you to look back on your life when you are older and regret not opening that business or following your dream or walking up to that pretty girl at the party.

Today's guests also deal with fear on a daily basis but they don't allow it to stop them from evolving and moving forward in life. We have on the show today the legendary lead singer Bruce Dickinson of the iconic band Iron Maiden and if that wasn't enough we are also joined Sacha Gervasi, the screenwriter behind Steven Spielberg's The Terminal and director behind the remarkable film Anvil! The Story of Anvil.

Bruce is a renaissance man. In addition being a world class singer he is also an accomplished airline pilot, olympic caliber fencer, radio and television host, best-selling author, beer entrepreneur, and the list goes and on. Fear never stopped Bruce from following his curiosities or evolution in this life.

Sacha and Bruce are currently working on a exciting feature film based on his documentary Scream for Me Sarajevo.

The story of hope in a time of war. Scream for Me Sarajevo is the amazing and astonishing story of the most unlikely of rock concerts, performed by Bruce Dickinson and his band Skunkworks in 1994, in the midst of the Siege of Sarajevo. This is a film about extraordinary people defying the horrors of war, and the musicians who risked their lives to play a show for them.

Bruce, Sacha and I had an amazing conversation about breaking through fear, where does inspiration and art come from and how they both continue to grow as people, artists and souls. BTW, we will be doing a deep dive into Sacha's amazing life in a future episode as well. Enjoy and rock on!

I worked for iron maiden for about 12yrs starting in the early 90s. He is the most intelligent and genui e guy. What u see in this interview is Bruce all of the time. He's on 11 always. When he says he gets I to something learns it then moves on to the next is so true. I remember when he was starting to learn to fly. When he came in the office he would tell us everything about planes. How the aerodynamics work, the mechanics, absolutely everything, whether u wanted to listen or not!! Great guy.

I'm a year younger than dear Bruce. What a great down to earth guy. I did 2 small time support act gigs with him and other bands like Angelwitch, Praying Mantis, etc in 77/78. He made it. I didnt 😂 Although his musical influences are close to mine, I wasn't really a Maiden fan, greatly entertaining as they were live. He has an active, inquisitive mind and a good sense of humour and about the realities of modern life. I particularly enjoyed his approach about ego/ post gig routine. An excellent insight of an interview and well done to all.

Fantastic interview, bruce has been my hero since I was a kid, and he still inspires me. Documentary "Scream for me Sarajevo" was incredibly moving. Highly recommended 👌

My husband and I had Iron Maiden played in church when we got married as we signed the register. Vicar said 'Don't blame me, blame the bride' as Wasting Love nearly shook the poor speakers off the church walls. I had wanted to walk down the aisle to Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter but the vicar said no lol.

My first favourite singer, and he’s a Brit like me, that’s one for the team. Saw them as a 17 year old in Donington Park in ‘88.

Iron Maiden music and history lessons all rolled into one. And to think they are in their 60's and 70's now. Keep rocking fellas. Paschendale is my all time fave song of theirs.

I'm a little late to the party, but I saw Iron Maiden with the giant Eddy in 1980 or 81 in Portland, OR. They were touring with Girl School and the Scorpions. It was great!

So inspirational.... two day ago I saw his performance in Poland with Iron Maiden... And in his age he just blown my mind. What an energy and spirit! I am happy that I was able to see his performance on my own eyes and ears!
