Hi Andrew!! It's been awhile for me to watch some of your videos, and I finally have time to catch up. This one is really good, as I think Darkroom sounds like it would go great with Affinity Plus, which I am still working on. I have been using Darkroom for about 2 years, I love it in the main, however it can get glitchy editing or colour grading video.
It will crash a lot or freezing a lot.
Video exports are so slow too.
However I haven’t found another app that integrates with Apple Photos so well.
I’d be interested to know what you use for video ?

Thanks for the discovery ! I wanted to quit my Adobe subscription and replace this software as the subscription is too expensive for my hobbyist use. For the video I took Lumafusion, for Photoshop I took Affinity Photo, but I was missing something as powerful as Lightroom, and there I discovered Darkroom, jackpot 👌🏽 thank you.

Do the Darkroom edits on iPad are they automatically available on iPhone? And vice-versa?

i've been looking for Lightroom alternatives for a while and I think this needs consideration since it can be free to use (not subscription only)

Hi Andrew. You've stated that you edit photos from Affinity Photo then export to Darkroom. What file format are you exporting from AP?

Nice one!! I was hoping I could do everything in Affinity photo, editing and photo grading….you probably can but that finally photo tweak is just too fiddly….
If I need to subscribe to something (which I am loathed to do..!) then I was thinking I might as well get Lightroom…but after watching this I need to visit Dark room again. The one off payment maybe the bullet to bite…👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
