To me, this is good. Regardless how you feel about GAAS, you have to admit that 12 different GAAS coming out close tougher would've been incredibly idiotic, regardless how diverse they are. The main tang GAAS require in time and attention, no one has time for five let alone 12 GAAS.

My prediction for PlayStation was: Showcase in March, where Jimmy-boy would've given a speech of how happy he's been with being CEO, but it was going to be his last, due to hom leaving PlayStation, and that the Showcase was going to be the biggest Showcase in years. Then, they would finally show the abundance of games they've been holding off to show for whatever reason - like Steller Blade with a release date finally, then maybe Ghost 2, probably for 2025, probably teaser for Horizon 3, Wolverine trailer for holiday 2024 (to get delayed to early 2025), then some GAAS, some third-party games, and maybe some new/returning IPs? My only question though is, the new CEO is only going to stay in the position for a year? So Jimmy-boy leaving wasn't planned? Was he pushed out? Will he appear on the Showcase that I'm predicting will be in March? I also predict that regardless of how much we want the opposite, PlayStation will only release 2 first-party games with 1 GAAS in 2024. Maybe things will be different with Jimmy-boy gone, or if they'll continue with his plans? I think and hope it's the former seeing that they recently stated they're cutting their 12 GAAS to 6.

The problem with these live service games is that most, if not all of these games are going to be ported to PC at the least. Live service games are revenue driven, and Sony needs the money. Not mentioning the fact that Bungie has had a touch in all of these games. Bungie is reeling right now in the public eye and missed their revenue goal by 45%.

This the problem that you do not understand BG. Gamers are the customers and Sony has to listen them. I do not like GAAS games or live services games because of microtranactions loot boxes skin etc. The one problem that Sony nned to work on is multiplayer and they can do it. Like the late Steve Jobs said Apple needs to worry about Apple. Sony need to do that.

I could've sworn I read somewhere that before this generation, Sony said they'd be releasing less 1rst party games this go around for quality or something. I just had 2 wisdom teeth taken out like 2 months ago because they were starting to decay but I had no pain like you. Was scared as hell prior, but the surgery went great and I was in virtually no pain. Didn't even have to take no meds really like that. Didn't have swelling like you though. BG West in the building. You'll heal quickly brother
