I hope he does a "I spent a day with native americans" because the things going on in the reservations is breaking my heart, hospitals overwhelmed, people infected at such a high rate because there are so few grocery stores and jobs around, the things I hear my family going through really sucks

What's sad is, as an asian we feel the need to laugh at the jokes that are targetting us even though it hurts. We rarely speak up about it because it's rarely viewed as an issue or racist to the general public and if we don't laugh we are viewed as sensitive. Also the fact that if an asian character in a media is changed to a white character (Ghost in the shell, avatar, ancient one from doctor strange) nobody bats an eye, but if other poc characters are changed into white on screen, everyone gets angry. Asian is the forgotten ethnicity and as an asian it always feels like other minority groups are being attacked worse than us so we shrug off our own "inconvenience" cause compared to others we have it better, which desensitized everyone to asian racism making them think it doesn't exist WHICH IT DOES.

I would love to see more âI spent a day withâ different ethnicities and minorities, as well as people of different religions - Jewish Americans, Christians, Muslim Americans, etc. I think the more minority demographics you explore the more awareness youâll help raise regarding SO many stereotypes. I would definitely love to see more with different mental illnesses and disorders as well. The DID and Agoraphobia ones were so eye opening, and Iâd love to see you dive into a lot more as well, major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder, panic disorder, bipolar depression/disorder etc. You have such a great platform to provide for people to use their voice and help educate others.

I remember in school we were learning about China. and each row of desks competed for who can put more beans into a cup with chopsticks. Immediately my row chose me to do it for them (because i was one of 3 asian kids in my whole grade). I did it and won, but the teacher chose two winners because choosing me was "unfair".

itâs really nice to see someone like anthony really trying to reach out and learn what asian americansâ lives are like, especially during whatâs happening right now. itâs such a different upbringing when you balance being american-born and your familyâs culture. it feels like asian-americans and their problems donât really get enough light, and so itâs great to see you talk to some of them and get their takes!
