I was 12 in 1972… can remember staying up all nite listening to a crackling am radio station, around 5 am we’d get our boards and start the 8 mile hitch hike fiasco to cocoa beach , usually 4 or 5 of us so it was usually some dude in a pick up truck… awesome days , good times that kids these days will never experience
