I was 33 years old in 1961, it was a very fun decade with lots of new inventions, I was a typewriter author and used to write poems and novels for the elderly back then, I enlisted in the US Navy at '56 and married a beautiful women a year later, she sadly passed away last October but I still cherish every happy moment I spent with her during our lifetime,me and my late wife used to always listen to these classic old music and everything was good back then and I wish to do it all over again, I hope I make to be one of the oldest individuals on the planet, Thank you!

I would just like to say, I really appreciate getting to enjoy this moment with y’all. Even though these comments were all left at different times on different day, reading them back to back with this in the background makes it feel as if we are all shareing this moment in time together and it seems nice.

This reminds me of Christmas's party at my grandma's house. We used to get all together, eat delicious food while listening to joyful music. Here in South America, we celebrate Christmas in summer, so I clearly remember the crickets on a warm night below the stars :). I missed those troubleless times, not worrying about anything in particular. And I miss my Grandma Betty with all my heart ❤ ❤ ❤
PS: Thank you for all the lovely comments. I never had so many likes, and I thought my small reflection would be left unseen. Still amazes me that so many people from so many different countries in the world could relate 💓💓
My grandma Betty was an adorable and incredible person. She was also a strong woman who had to raise her children alone, after the love of her life was killed in a car accident. I was her first grandchild (along with my twin) and she was one of the most lovely and sweet persons I've ever met. Her last birthday, despite already having early stage of dementia, was surrounded by friends, family and lots of love. That's how I like to treasure her in my memories.

I was raised by my grandparents and we would often listen to oldies in the car. My grandpa was a truck driver, so I have fond memories of listening to old songs while cruisng down the highway. He passed away when I was around the age of six, so it's just been my grandma and I ever since. Your videos remind me of the time I spent with him. Thank you for all that you do :)
