I think the beauty in Hoziers music is his desire to preach to power, he really tries and succeeds at Nina Simone's sentiment of "the duty of an artist". the thing that makes hozier so good is the fact that you can tell heâs clearly enjoying making music, heâs not doing it for money, and furthermore he calls out the privileges and uses his platform for good. i donât know many other artists who openly take every pride flag in their shows or call out the church or extreme right agendas.
