I love how action is blasted from start to finish because certain intricacies or notes in the things he tries awaken his inner love for food. They remind him of a certain dish or transport him to another place. The wine that reminded him of steak au poivre, then he goes and gets an avant-garde interpretation of it as a pizza slice. Genius. For s split second he went to another dimension when he had that flaky pie, shit put a smile of his face. Also shout-out to you guys for putting the names of the wine on screen, affords us the ability to go and try them for ourselves. Great show which also highlights small businesses, not just high end establishments.
