Oh wow, the ending shot of Zero One is actually the stopmotion model from 'What I Want'
You can tell because the way he moves, and the way his face is more plasticy and realistic than the previous CGI scenes.
He is laying on the floor infront of the computer, waking up for the first time.
Hats off bruh. This album has lore.

I'm sure someone else has said this, but after watching the Tombsona introduction videos, I think the song is from the perspective of the human hosts of the Tombsonas, what with being chosen by an inscrutable power and losing themselves(as they are controlled by the Tombsona).
Each Tombsona's scene, except seemingly Doc's(Blue Guy who I don't think uses a host), seem to show how the Tombsonas found their hosts, Tesla's(Pink) host making the mask, Armstrong's(Red) host floating through space, Zero_One's(Orange) host touching a server, and Rust's(Green) scene seems like shortly after the host found the armor, as he isn't wearing the jacket and the armor is lighting up(Rust's hosts are also generally already rebels which would explain the police).
A cabaret is a performance containing music, dance, or drama, and the Tombasonas(as we can all see) all take part in the performance of the music, so the "I heard you play/In the digital cabaret" is likely the host speaking to the Tombsona.
At the beginning of the song the host is questioning whether they will still be themself ("will I be myself again?"), in the middle they want it to stop and are being truly taken over(starting with "let me out" and "Losing everything I called human", transitioning to "Free will is miles away", "Iâm okay", and "I wonât disobey"), and at the end, they are fully subsumed by the Tombsona("I'll play a part", "You'll take my choice", "this is who I am").
Throughout the song, the singer, who I believe is the host, says they are losing who they are and don't know if they will make it through "this", but at the end, the host says they will be made into something new and that this is who they are.
From Doc's introduction video we can conclude that human souls are important to Tombsonas, and one of the lines at the end of the song is "Youâll be my voice, Iâll be your soul", implying that the host will be the human soul needed by the Tombasona, while the Tombsona does all the talking and actions.
On an even darker and less likely to be intended by TLT note, the Tombsonas might be making a performance of the whole thing to draw attention away from the fact that the lyrics are a person in the process of losing their mind and personality to a powerful entity who is described as "beyond remorse" and "beyond control".

zero one is like a corruption that takes over people(confirmed by sam haft). The song chosen is all about it. âwill I be myself again?â âa force beyond controlâ âdonât know how you will make me newâ âyouâll be my voice Iâll be your soulâ âa stranger to myselfâ âlosing who I amâ it all makes sense now.

Drunk: Being content with 'you' when you shouldn't be
Sunburn: Not being content with 'you' when you should be
Love I Need: Not being content with 'you' and striving for someone he's content with
Chosen: Not knowing who 'you' is
Edit: Yeah, I know Love I Need isnât part of the album. But it fits in with the other three, so Idk

I'm seeing a similar pattern within the recent songs y'all been putting:
In Drunk, it speaks about the satisfaction on being on a different reality escaping the real world via by drinking.
In Sunburn, similar to Drunk's description but instead daydreaming your reality and imagining yourself in your little fantasy with somebody else, but endlessly realizing that it's all just a dream...
In Love I Need, you're done on being alone and want to love or be loved but you fear that you might be forever alone and maybe be true...
And Finally in Chosen, the self thought on why you exist. Beating yourself up on what is your purpose, a plea of self-identity, on why you are chosen to exist for...
Ive realized that all of these are connecting feelings!
Also that all of these are absolute bangers!
