Darkening system prevents them from molting. You need to do the lighting system combined with trimming and pulling flights. Hawks are an issue every where. The birds need to learn what to do. You can’t save or keep them all. All my birds that survived the hawk attacks during the settling process became my best birds. They have to go through Hawk university. Try a wacky inflatable arm man, attracting crows or ravens to your property, or a large settling cage so the birds can learn with out being slaughtered. The view into your loft is also too good. You need to keep the birds out of sight for a few days after the hawks start showing up so they can’t see them in the loft. If the hawks can see them all day they’ll just wait for their moment.
