I got accepted to Berklee and this video helped a lot. I practiced each style you talked about and prepared them well then the guy told me to play a 12/8 Afro Cuban and I thought "Damn, that wasn't in JP's video." Lol. But thanks for the video. Can't wait to get there and learn even more.

Dude, it helped! Seriously. Good instruction. I'm not up for a Berkeley Audition (wish I could play like that) but just having you "voice" the parts beforehand was definitely helpful. Keep sending us the online tutorials! Always appreciated. Hope you have a great career, man!

Hey man I know this video is 5 years old now but I've watched it through many times and I'm happy to say that I got into Berklee this year! Thank you for making this, I think it really helped!
