Some useful tips I've found while shooting these, is to install magic lantern if you own a canon product. Magic lantern has a useful feature called live view zoom. In live view it will automatically zoom in on the focus box in the picture. This allows you to really match up the exact point you are shooting on the subject. Another helpful thing I've learned is that, since you hyperlapses are just pictures, I like to edit them in Lightroom before hand. This allows you to speed up your workflow in AE. He didn't go into it in this tutorial but tracking your shots in AE can make a huge difference in your result because warp stabilizer can give you some wonky results if used by itself.
