I live in South Africa. In April 1977, I lived in a town called Krugersdorp. Every day I walked past a shop with paper covering all the windows. No big deal, this was the norm for unoccupied shops. 1. Do not rent anything in your own name
2. Dig a tunnel that links to sewers
3. Use hairspray on motion things
4. Wait until there is a big sporting event on
5. Take hostages
6. Use spare key kept in room to unlock safe
7. Let everyone call home
8. Order Pizza
9. Crawl through tunnel and sewer
10. Leave bombs in tunnel
11. Do not leave fingerprints
12. Do not leave a bag with receipts/diamonds in plain view
13. Do not use stolen money to buy stuff at airport
14. Don't leave your wife

I'm amazed at how the first group did not plan well for where they'd go after running away. They didn't think it'd draw attention to them when looking nervous at an airport (which is heavily surrveiled by cameras) and all buying tickets with paper money? Wow.🤦♂️ They should've had another house elsewhere to lay low for months, then split up one at a time, with different ID from their original. The house could've been stocked with food and water beforehand.
