When I first found about this project almost three years ago, I was surprised we are getting a new Wonka origin story! I was 12 when the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton version came out in ‘05! And yet I have seen the Gene Wilder more times! This keeps looking more impressive every day leading up to this! And as for Natasha Rothwell first Love Simon then Sonic the Hedgehog then Wish and now Wonka! She’s got to do comedy more often!
